Evolution in the Womb?

This is Ken Ham, inviting your family to visit our massive Noah’s ark in Northern Kentucky.

There’s an idea that’s still taught in textbooks that’s been debunked for decades. What is it? Well, it’s the idea that an unborn baby progresses through supposed evolutionary stages.

Some textbooks continue to list gill slits and tails in human embryos as evidence for these supposed evolutionary stages. But the gill slits are just throat pouches. They’ll form features such as the inner ears.

And the tail isn’t a tail. It’s the coccyx, or tailbone. It’s where the muscles will eventually attach so the baby can sit, stand, and walk.

No, we don’t go through evolutionary animal stages as we grow in a womb. That’s a false idea based on another false idea—evolution!
