Remembering Tommy Mitchell in Photos

As you pray for the whole family, including their daughters Mary, Ashley, and Sarah, please be encouraged as you learn about this wonderful defender of the Christian faith. He travelled the world giving lectures on creation-apologetics and wrote countless articles and several science books. He also produced videos on a wide range of topics, from dinosaurs all the way to answers to the often-asked question of why a loving, all-powerful God allows suffering and, yes, death in this world.

In no particular order:

A younger Tommy takes a break from the 1999 Hendersonville AiG seminar he chaired to take this photo with Ken Ham and compare gaudy ties. The Nashville-area conference drew several thousand people. The friendship between the two men would become quite strong over the next 20 years.
Tommy was a doting grandfather of Judy (seen here; born 2017) and Killian (born last month), to daughter Ashley.

Tommy, a former evolutionist, took great satisfaction being able to teach the truths of Genesis to tens of thousands of children and teens since 2005.
This package contained the first copies of volume four of Tommy’s series of books on the human body. A sixth volume is currently in production.
