Help Provide 1 Million Meals to Hungry Kids This Summer

Through their “Summer of Hope” campaign, children receive physical nourishment and spiritual hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Answers in Genesis is partnering with our friends at Children’s Hunger Fund (CHF) to provide one million meals for hungry children right here in the United States. Through their “Summer of Hope” campaign, children receive physical nourishment and spiritual hope through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

A meal only costs $0.25, so a dollar provides four meals. This money goes towards Food Paks filled with nutritious food. These Paks are then distributed to families by local pastors and church members, who meet with the families, get to know them, and share the love and hope of Jesus with them. CHF understands that it is hard to hear a message of hope on an empty belly. So, they fill that belly and then share the message of the Bread of Life that fills the spiritual hunger in all of us.

For just $250,000, CHF can provide 1 million meals to needy children right here in our own backyards. But, more importantly, these children and their families will learn about Jesus and what he has done for them to solve their biggest problem, the debt of sin they could never repay. Please consider partnering with us to help CHF meet their Summer of Hope goal.

Ken Ham, the CEO of Answers in Genesis, the Creation Museum, and the Ark Encounter, recently discussed CHF and the Summer of Hope with Stacia, one of our staff members who heads up our Answers VBS program. They also discussed how our partnership through Answers VBS with CHF has resulted in 6.3 million meals being delivered to impoverished children around the world. You can watch that interview below:
