Merry Christmas from Answers in Genesis
Just stop for a moment and think about what it means that God became man. The eternal God, the perfect, holy Creator, stepped into history to become sin for us so that we might be saved. Here are some beautiful verses that summarize what Christ has done:
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sin (1 John 4:9–10).
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith (Romans 3:23–25).
And being found in human form, he [Jesus] humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross (Philippians 2:8).
I hope this message never seems tired or old to us.
I hope this message never seems tired or old to us. It’s amazing and should always produce wonder and joy in our hearts as we think about Christ and what he’s done for us.
I trust you have a wonderful Christmas and opportunities to share the love and hope of Christ with others. Merry Christmas!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for praying,
