Today’s Reflection
What an embarrassment. Our governor went on national television this week and spued his liberal theology in support of the LGBTQ crowd. He specifically cited his faith as the determinate factor in him vetoing anti LGBTQ legislation. I guess he prefers protecting men in dresses over protecting our vulnerable children from such wickedness.
I’m not sure what book he’s reading but it must not be the same book we carry into church every week. Here are just a couple verses of what the bible actually says about such matters:
“Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.” Leviticus 18:22 KJV
“The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman’s garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God.” Deuteronomy 22:5 KJV
Someone might say, well that’s just Old Testament stuff. Okay, here’s a passage from the New Testament:
“For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:” “And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.” Romans 1:26-27 KJV
If you see the governor anytime soon, maybe you could share these scriptures with him.
